Deciding the most memorable video game death is a pretty heavy task. Considering some of the contenders, Aeris being most notable in my opinion, I'm surprised this list isn't much more debated. What's even more confusing to me is Angry Pixel's choice of The Boss when there are so many other epic Metal Gear deaths. This is how Angry Pixel explained their choice:
"It was only when the final tape rolled and we learned what a huge burden she was carrying and what an utterly selfless person she actually was that the true trauma of our actions sunk in. Her sacrifice, enough to make even the tough-as-nails Snake shed a tear, totally ripped us to pieces, earning her the distinction of being the most shocking death on our list."
What about Psycho Mantis? Or Sniper Wolf? I mean did they completely forget about Emma Emmerich? Okay, screw it, I'll address this question once and for all. Stay tuned for the Ten Most Memorable Metal Gear Deaths.
