Sources indicate that Gamestop has begun taking preorders for Metal Gear Solid 4 on PS3. Their speculated release date is June 17, 2008 - really late Quarter 2. The date is from Gamestop so there's no official confirmation but the date is probably pretty accurate.
In other news The Game Reviews is claiming that they've killed the Xbox 360 version of MGS4 rumors started by Xboxfamily. Meanwhile Konami and Kojima stick with Ryan Payton's statement that if you want to play MGS4 you have to buy a PS3. Add this one to the list of rumors that just won't die.
