In a recent interview with Media Molecule, the minds behind the phenomenal LittleBigPlanet, they discussed the game's Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid downloadable content and there run-in with Hideo Kojima.
According to the MM guys, Kojima loved the design of the Metal Gear Solid DLC and that made the collaboration completely worth it.
Siobhan Reddy of Media Molecule went on to say that they "make sure, when working with an external IP, that they add something to the LittleBigPlanet universe, and the Metal Gear Solid collaboration is one of the best examples of this."
