A few months ago I linked to the first two parts of this article titled Why Metal Gear Solid is the Greatest Videogame Story Ever Told, so it only seems right to link you to the third and final part. This was actually posted a while back, but I just remembered today, because that's how I roll.

And a special thanks to the article's author Gary Swaby for linking back to OMG Metal Gear. Thanks Gary!

This week, Weapon Wednesdays returns with part six of my Beretta 92 feature, where I continue talking about the various Beretta models.

This was taken at a Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker event in Tokyo. I was never alarmed, because if Snake really was going to kill those people, they probably had it coming.

The Beretta 92 has seen a lot of variants over the years, over fifty different configurations. While I'm not going to list them, I will talk about their differences.

In part four of my feature on the Beretta 92, I'll take a look at the weapon's design.

Gamespot is running a (slightly over a) month long contest in which gamers can vote the for the all time greatest videogame hero. What started with 64 heroes is now down to sixteen and yes, Snake is still in the running. Click here to check it out and hit the vote link at the top of that page when it's time to vote again, which will be this Thursday.

After a long wait, I bring you part three of my Beretta 92 feature. In Part Two I talked about what went wrong. This time I'll talk a little about what went right.

Ever consider which Metal Gear Solid game is the best in the series? Tyler Clemmons has and he's written up his thoughts.

Last week I introduced you to the Beretta 92. This week I talk about some of the early problems that the gun faced.

Gary Swaby over at The Koalition is doing a three-part editorial on why he believes Metal Gear Solid has the greatest story ever told in a video game. Parts one and two are up with a third part on the way. It's a good read, and he managed to go in-depth without making the article painfully long.
